Like traditional Georgian oil colours, they offer high pigment loads, a smooth texture, and dependable lightfastness. They're ideal for use with a knife or a brush, allowing for impasto techniques, but can also be thinned with water to create wash effects similar to watercolours.
This selection set contains ten 37ml water mixable colours: Alizarin Crimson, Burnt Umber, Cadmium Red Hue, Cadmium Yellow Hue, Coeruleum Hue, French Ultramarine, Lemon Yellow, Titanium White, Viridian Hue and Yellow Ochre.
