Marabu Green Water-Based Alkyd Paint 100ml

The water-based alkyd paint with vegetable oil-based raw materials is a real alternative for art and hobby projects. The vegan paint is made of at least 92% natural raw materials. The paint is climate neutral and sustainably produced in Germany. The paint characteristics are a great addition for artists using canvas and for creative hobby users painting on a variety of surfaces. Alkyd paints typically require organic solvents and are therefore far from environmentally friendly.

Thanks to water-based technology, this paint system is a real alternative. Marabu GREEN paint contains alkyd resins and water as a base. The alkyd resins are made of polyvalent alcohols and natural oils. That‘s exactly why Marabu GREEN has such a high proportion of substances of natural origin at 92%.

The matt paint with a creamy consistency can be applied well with a brush or paint roller. It is light-fast, weather-resistant and wide color palette with endless combinations. Whether it‘s bright and colourful, discreet and timeless neutrals, fluffy-light pastel shades or bright metallic effects – there‘s a colour suitable for every project.

Want more colours? Of course, the paints can be mixed easily. GREEN is suitable for a variety of surfaces, such as paper, cardboard, canvas, wood, MDF, stone and many more. Clearly the contents count, but the packaging also plays a decisive role. We focus on material savings with the GREEN tubes. The laminated tube has a thinner wall thickness, which means that we reduce material usage by up to 30% compared to a conventional tube. The thin wall thickness allows the tube to be emptied completely.

In addition, the tube body is made of 50% renewable raw materials. As the tube is made of mono-material HDPE (except for the lid), it is completely recyclable. The cardboard boxes of our GREEN sets have a recycling content of at least 95% and are so beautiful that they can also be painted, creatively upcycled and reused in a variety of ways.
