This graphite pencil set contains four beautifully designed Blackwing pencils: two with a Firm graphite core and two Soft. This introductory giftbox is a great place to experiment (and fall in love) with these iconic pencils. The Firm graphite is designed for smooth notes and sketches while the Soft is ideal for drawing with depth and texture. Both have the brand’s distinctive square ferrule, replaceable rectangular eraser and clip. The set also includes a One-Step Long Point Sharpener to keep your pencils in tip top condition.
Blackwing pencils are all crafted with Genuine Incense-cedar wood from California and Oregon along with premium Japanese graphite. The company traces its roots to the 1930s when the pencil’s exceptional quality and distinctive style made it the creative tool of choice for some of history's most influential artists, writers, and thinkers.
